Music
Music is an important part of primary education, and it can enhance children's knowledge-learning, well-being and confidence. We aim to develop children's appreciation and to provide them with another important medium of expression through singing and music making. We have a range of instruments in school. We use 'Charanga'' to build up our knowledge and skills in Music such as exploring pitch, beat and rhythm. We also use 'Busy Beats', '2Explore', 2Sequence' and '2Beat' on Purple Mash to explore music and create our own. This can be accessed at home too through your child's Purple Mash login. Our children are taught to listen and respond to music from different times and cultures as well as more familiar pieces of music.
