Parent / School Partnership
We welcome you to support in the following ways:
- listening to children reading
- joining our Better Reading programme
- giving talks to children on careers, work and leisure activities
- providing specialist help e.g. baking, sewing, astronomy, gardening
- helping by making items at home for use in school
- by providing us with unwanted or unused household items for use in school - anything from cotton reels to woodwork tools
You could further support your child by:
- attending parent interviews
- attending parent mornings and activities during curriculum weeks
- attending curriculum talks
- attending parent and child workshops
- attending events throughout the year
- supporting school sports teams
- helping with fund raising to buy extra equipment
- taking the time to do the morning activity at 8.50 a.m.
- be your child's No. 1 fan and commenting on work class teachers put out in the morning
