Class 2 took advantage of the lovely weather last week and enjoyed a walk around the school grounds looking for signs of Spring. We saw new leaves growing on the trees, daffodils beginning to flower and fresh green grass growing on our fields. We also heard signs of spring because the birds were tweeting and enjoying the sunshine too! When we looked closely in our pond we managed to spot a little frog popping his head out of the water which was lovely to see. Then we had a surprise when we came back out of our classroom at playtime... the frog had hopped over from the pond and was outside our classroom! Luckily Mrs Andrew was nearby to pop it back in the pond safe from a playground full of children!
