What a fantastic day we had on Wednesday on our visit to Sherwood Forest. The weather was just perfect for our day after all the snow we'd had the week before! We had an interesting talk and walk from Robert of Sherwood, some of us even managed to meet Robin Hood and Little John. We trudged through the mud and spotted several fairy houses throughout the forest. We saw the famous hideout and meeting place for Robin Hood, the 'Major Oak' which is over 800 years old! We wowed all the teachers with all our den building skills! Using all the learning crew from school including 'Captain Teamwork' and the 'Thinking Twins'. Look at the fantastic photographs taken from the day.
