What a fantastic day we had at Conisbrough Castle! We started the day looking around the grounds and sketching the different parts of a castle. Then we explored the castle walls before entering the keep. We carefully climbed lots of stairs to reach the top of the castle and we were amazed at how far we could see. Every floor we climbed had interesting information clips about Lord Hamelin and Lady Isabelle who were the people who had Conisbrough Castle built. After lunch we went back in time (850 years) in our 'Meet the Medieval' workshop and got to dress up as different workers in the castle which was lots of fun. We also pretended to be these workers by cooking and dressing the King and Queen. Thank you to all the staff at Conisbrough Castle for our exciting day. Have a look at our fantastic photos!
