We have had a great World Book Week. It begin with the visit by Sue Wilkins, included stories read by governors and sports coaches and ended with celebrating reading in Special Mention Assembly. However the best day was Thursday when children could dress as a character or come in their pyjamas ready to hear stories. Each class was involved in peer reading with another age group and all the staff in school joined in the event. Homework this week is about reading and sharing stories which we are looking forward to putting on display in the entrance hall.
