Fizzy Colours Investigation.. by Mr Hague
On Monday class 7 became scientists in the afternoon. They did an experiment called fizzy colours which involved lots of fun and engaging learning throughout.

Fizzy colours is an awe and wonder experiment where we tested what would happen when we mixed white vinegar, food colouring and bicarbonate of soda all together. First we had to look at the plan to know how to sensibly carry out the investigation, we then predicted what might happen and finally Mr Hague showed the class a demonstration using his two assistants. It was then the turn of the class 7 scientists to carry out the investigation for themselves and record what they could see, hear and smell.

We saw some amazing colours, heard some fantastic descriptions and we was amazed at the outcome!
