Odd Socks Day by Class 6
As part of Anti-Bullying Week children and staff wore odd socks to remind us that we are ‘All Different, All Equal’ which is the theme of this years week. We all agree its great to celebrate differences and life would be very dull if we were all the same! Children took part in a special assembly and enjoyed dancing to the odd socks video. We also had Ann Foxley-Johnson from the Anti-Bullying Company to do a workshop with every class about being an upstander. We read a new version of the story of 'Humpty Dumpty' and talked about the 'bad egg' and what other people or humpty dumpty could do to help himself in different scenarios. The children were confident in talking about how they could help someone who is feeling sad or who they could talk to in school if they found themselves in scenarios like humpty dumpty.
